Wyoming Workers Compensation Resources

Wyoming is a monopolistic state meaning employers must purchase workers comp insurance directly through a state-operated work comp insurance fund. Coverage is not available through private insurers. The state establishes rates, issues coverage, and administers claims similar to private insurance companies.

Out-of-state employers with employees located in Wyoming must contact the state's Wyoming Department of Workforce Services to arrange for work comp coverage for their Wyoming employees.
